Susan Cotten, President
Susan’s first flying job with Transamerica Airlines took her to every corner of the world on flights carrying such diverse groups as African Hajj pilgrims to Mecca, Angolan evacuees to Lisbon, Vietnamese refugees to the United States, Sons of Norway to Oslo, and marching bands to Syria.
Susan did a stint of “traditional” flying with United Airlines but preferred the start-up challenges and adventures provided by the five other airlines in whose beginnings she participated. She has mentored and trained flight attendants for many years, from Gilbert Islanders for Air Tungaru to corporate flight attendants serving the world’s most influential executives and intriguing celebrities.
Susan ran a business writing service in Manhattan before transitioning into corporate flying over twenty years ago. She quickly built a reputation for providing quality standards and was requested by numerous Fortune 100 companies as well as smaller flight departments. She completed a seven-year, full-time tenure at American Express before deciding to start CAPcrews.
Susan’s commitment to professionalism and her attention to detail, whether she is serving refugees or CEOs, have consistently received high praise from passengers and fellow crew members.
